Charity Casino Night Fundraisers in Los Angeles

We run charity casino night fundraisers across Los Angeles from our own base here, which means no long-haul travel charges and setup windows that are easier to schedule around your venue. We're certified by the California Department of Justice gambling division for charity fundraisers, and over about twenty years our tables have helped raise more than one million dollars for hundreds of California nonprofits.

Casino night fundraisers for Los Angeles nonprofits

A casino night fundraiser is entertainment, not gambling. Guests buy in for chips, play blackjack, craps, roulette, or poker with professional dealers, and cash out at the end for raffle tickets or a prize table. Chips have no cash value. The money your organization raises comes from buy-ins, sponsorships, and the room, not from anyone's losses.

Two formats cover most of what we do. A chip buy-in casino floor keeps people moving between tables all night and works well when you also have a silent auction or a program to get through. A bracketed poker tournament gives the evening a clear arc and a winner, and we can supply a female poker tournament director to run it. Chips, cards, layouts, and setup come with the booking.

We've dealt for Make-A-Wish Foundation, Children's Hospital of Los Angeles, and Autism Speaks, among many others. The full details on our charity fundraiser work cover the compliance side in more depth.

What's different about running one in Los Angeles

Los Angeles is home. Our dealers live here, our equipment is stored here, and we don't have to build travel time into the schedule the way we do for a job three hours up the coast. That matters most when your event is on a weekend night in a busy season and you want a setup window that isn't at dawn.

We've worked the Hollywood Roosevelt and the California Science Center, along with hotels, museums, studio lots, and private homes across the city. LA venues have their own habits. Load-in often goes through a service elevator on a specific schedule, and many properties have union labor rules or hard curfews that decide when tables can go in and when they have to come out. We confirm all of that with your venue coordinator before the date rather than discovering it on the loading dock.

If your event sits outside the city proper, we cover Beverly Hills, Woodland Hills, and Orange County as well.

Scheduling and load-in

Once you have a venue and a date, we contact the property directly to sort out the load-in path, elevator access, and the time we're allowed on the floor. Table setup happens before guests arrive, and breakdown starts once play closes so we clear the room within the venue's window.

Our dealers arrive dressed and ready to run their tables. All of them are hired and trained in house, and we have more than 20 on the roster, so a large floor with a dozen tables is staffed by people who have worked together before. We carry event liability insurance and can provide a certificate for venues that require one, which most of the larger LA properties do.

What a Los Angeles fundraiser costs

We quote every event individually. Cost depends on how many tables you want, how many hours of play, whether you need a tournament director, and what the venue requires for load-in and labor. A 60-guest cocktail fundraiser in a private home and a 400-guest gala at a downtown hotel are different jobs.

Being based in Los Angeles keeps travel out of the equation for most of the city, which is one less line to worry about. Tell us your date, venue, and rough headcount and we'll put a number in front of you. Call (866) 963-6557 or send the booking form.

California has specific rules for charity gaming events, and we handle the compliance paperwork on our side as a certified operator. We're not attorneys and we don't give legal advice, so if your organization has questions about its own obligations, check with your counsel.

Common questions

Is a casino night fundraiser legal in California?

Charity casino nights are permitted in California under specific rules, and we're certified by the California Department of Justice gambling division to run fundraisers. Chips have no cash value and guests never win money. We handle the compliance side of our operation, but we can't advise your organization on its own legal obligations.

How far in advance should we book?

Sooner is better, especially for Saturday nights and the fall gala season. We also need lead time to reach your venue about load-in and curfew rules. Call us with a date and we'll tell you honestly what's open.

Do you charge extra for travel within Los Angeles?

Los Angeles is our home base, so most of the city involves no long-haul travel. Travel is one of several factors in a quote, and we'll spell it out clearly when we price your event.

What do guests actually win?

Nothing with cash value. Most organizations end the night with a prize table or raffle where guests exchange their chip totals for tickets. The prizes are usually donated items or sponsor gifts, and we can help you structure the exchange so it stays fair and moves quickly.

Can you run a poker tournament instead of an open casino floor?

Yes. We can supply a female poker tournament director and run a bracketed format with a clear finish and a prize table. It works well when you want the evening built around one shared event rather than guests drifting between games.

Ready to plan your night?

Tell us your date, location and guest count and our event coordinator will get back to you with availability and a quote.
