Charity Casino Night Fundraisers in Beverly Hills
We run charity casino night fundraisers in Beverly Hills at country clubs, hotels, and private homes, with professional female dealers, full table setup, and the California Department of Justice gambling division certification that charity gaming events require. Hillcrest Country Club is among the Beverly Hills venues we have worked. Play is for entertainment and prizes only: chips have no cash value and no guest wagers real money.
Fundraisers at Beverly Hills clubs, hotels, and homes
A casino night gives your donors something to do besides eat dinner and listen to a program. Guests get a chip buy-in at the door, the buy-in is the donation, and they play blackjack, craps, roulette, or poker for a few hours. At the end, chips convert to raffle entries or a prize table. That structure is what makes the night raise money without anyone gambling.
We have helped raise over one million dollars for hundreds of California charities since 2006, and we are certified by the California Department of Justice gambling division for charity fundraisers. There are California rules that govern charity gaming, and we handle the compliance side of our end so your committee is not guessing. We are not attorneys and we do not give legal advice, but we do this often enough to know what a properly run event looks like.
The two formats that work best are a chip buy-in casino floor, where guests move between tables all evening, and a bracketed poker tournament with a prize table. For the tournament version we can supply a female poker tournament director to run the clock, the blind structure, and the final table. Full details on both formats are on our charity casino night fundraisers page.
What's different about a Beverly Hills event
A large share of our Beverly Hills bookings are private residences rather than commercial venues. That changes the planning more than people expect. Tables come in through a gate or a motor court, not a loading dock, and the floor plan gets built around the actual room instead of a ballroom diagram. We ask about gate width, driveway grade, whether there are stairs between the street and the party space, and where the caterer is staging. Those answers determine how many tables fit and where the dealers stand.
Club and hotel events in Beverly Hills run differently. Venues like Hillcrest Country Club have their own load-in windows, insurance requirements, and house rules about what can go where. We carry event liability insurance and can send a certificate to the venue's events office ahead of time, which is usually the first thing they ask for.
For a home event, count on roughly the same footprint per table you would give a large dining table plus standing room behind the players. If you are unsure whether your space holds four tables or seven, tell us the room dimensions and we will tell you straight.
Scheduling and travel to Beverly Hills
Beverly Hills is a short drive from our Los Angeles base, so same-day setup is straightforward. We arrive, build the tables, dress them, and are out of your way before guests arrive. Load-out happens after the last hand.
All chips, cards, layouts, and setup come with the booking. You do not source equipment separately. We travel throughout California from Los Angeles, so if your organization also runs events elsewhere, we cover Los Angeles, Woodland Hills, and Orange County as well.
Charity calendars cluster. Spring galas and fall benefits book heavily, and a Saturday in either season goes early. If you have a date, call it in before you finalize the invitation.
What a Beverly Hills fundraiser costs
We quote every event individually, because the number that matters depends on how many tables you need, how many hours you want them running, and whether you want a tournament director. A 60-guest cocktail benefit and a 300-guest gala are not the same job.
Tell us guest count, venue, date, and whether you are leaning toward a casino floor or a poker tournament, and we will put a real number in front of you. Use the booking form or call (866) 96-DOLLS, which is (866) 963-6557. We accept all major credit cards.
Who we are
Dealer Dolls was founded in 2006 by Jodi Lee Screpnek and has been owned, operated, and staffed entirely by women for about twenty years. We were the original all-women casino party company. Our dealers, more than 20 of them, are hired and trained in house, and they are professionals first: they run a clean table, teach the rules to guests who have never played, and keep the room moving.
We have worked for Make-A-Wish Foundation, Children's Hospital of Los Angeles, and Autism Speaks, along with corporate clients including Red Bull, SpaceX, and the Hollywood Roosevelt.
Common questions
Is a casino night fundraiser legal in California?
Charity casino nights are a recognized fundraising format in California and there are state rules that govern them. We are certified by the California Department of Justice gambling division for charity fundraisers and handle the compliance side of our end. We are not attorneys, so your organization should confirm its own obligations with counsel.
Do guests win real money?
No. Chips have no cash value. Guests play for entertainment and for prizes, typically through a raffle drawing or a prize table at the end of the night. No one cashes out.
Can you set up in a private home in Beverly Hills?
Yes, and a large share of our Beverly Hills events are at private residences. We need to know about gate width, motor court access, and any stairs between the street and the party space so we can plan the load-in and build the floor plan around your actual rooms.
How many tables do we need?
It depends on guest count and how much of the night is dedicated to play versus dinner and program. Tell us your headcount and your run of show and we will recommend a table mix. A room where everyone plays at once needs more tables than one where guests rotate through.
How much does it cost?
Every event is quoted individually based on table count, hours, staffing, and whether you want a poker tournament director. Call (866) 963-6557 or send us your date and guest count through the booking form and we will give you a real quote.
