What's different about a Beverly Hills event

A large share of our Beverly Hills bookings are private residences rather than commercial venues. That changes the planning more than people expect. Tables come in through a gate or a motor court, not a loading dock, and the floor plan gets built around the actual room instead of a ballroom diagram. We ask about gate width, driveway grade, whether there are stairs between the street and the party space, and where the caterer is staging. Those answers determine how many tables fit and where the dealers stand.

Club and hotel events in Beverly Hills run differently. Venues like Hillcrest Country Club have their own load-in windows, insurance requirements, and house rules about what can go where. We carry event liability insurance and can send a certificate to the venue's events office ahead of time, which is usually the first thing they ask for.

For a home event, count on roughly the same footprint per table you would give a large dining table plus standing room behind the players. If you are unsure whether your space holds four tables or seven, tell us the room dimensions and we will tell you straight.

Scheduling and travel to Beverly Hills

Beverly Hills is a short drive from our Los Angeles base, so same-day setup is straightforward. We arrive, build the tables, dress them, and are out of your way before guests arrive. Load-out happens after the last hand.

All chips, cards, layouts, and setup come with the booking. You do not source equipment separately. We travel throughout California from Los Angeles, so if your organization also runs events elsewhere, we cover Los Angeles, Woodland Hills, and Orange County as well.

Charity calendars cluster. Spring galas and fall benefits book heavily, and a Saturday in either season goes early. If you have a date, call it in before you finalize the invitation.

We quote every event individually, because the number that matters depends on how many tables you need, how many hours you want them running, and whether you want a tournament director. A 60-guest cocktail benefit and a 300-guest gala are not the same job.

Who we are

Dealer Dolls was founded in 2006 by Jodi Lee Screpnek and has been owned, operated, and staffed entirely by women for about twenty years. We were the original all-women casino party company. Our dealers, more than 20 of them, are hired and trained in house, and they are professionals first: they run a clean table, teach the rules to guests who have never played, and keep the room moving.

We have worked for Make-A-Wish Foundation, Children's Hospital of Los Angeles, and Autism Speaks, along with corporate clients including Red Bull, SpaceX, and the Hollywood Roosevelt.
