Costumed Dealers and Showgirls in Los Angeles, California
Costumed dealers and showgirls are professional casino party staff who run your tables in full themed wardrobe: classic Vegas, Roaring Twenties, James Bond, or whatever your invitation promised. We supply them across Los Angeles and throughout California, along with the tables, chips, cards, and setup. Every event is quoted individually, so the fastest way to a real number is the booking form or (866) 963-6557.
When costumed staff is worth it (and when plain black and white is fine)
Not every party needs costumes. If you are running a corporate mixer in a hotel ballroom and the goal is conversation, dealers in clean black and white disappear into the room and let the tables do the work. That is a good outcome.
Costumed dealers and showgirls earn their keep when the theme is the point. A Roaring Twenties gala where guests arrived in beaded dresses. A James Bond birthday where the host rented a tux. A brand activation where photos are the deliverable and every frame needs to look intentional. A charity fundraiser that wants a strong first impression the second donors walk in.
Showgirls do something different from dealers. They greet, they pose for photos, they move guests toward the tables, and they give your photographer something to shoot during the slow first thirty minutes. Dancing dealers sit somewhere in between: they run a game and they bring energy to it. Most hosts who book showgirls pair them with a normal dealer lineup rather than replacing it.
One thing that never changes: chips have no cash value. This is casino themed entertainment. Guests play for fun and for whatever prizes you decide to award at the end.
How the booking actually works, start to finish
You tell us the shape of the night. Guest count, venue, start and end time, and the theme if you have one. If you do not have a theme yet, say so. We have opinions.
We build a table plan. Blackjack, craps, roulette, poker, and how many of each. The mix depends on your crowd more than your budget. A group of first timers needs more blackjack and a dealer with patience. A room full of poker players needs different math. If you want to think it through before you call, read how many dealers does a casino party need?
We match costumes to the event. Classic Vegas, Twenties, Bond, or something specific to your brand or the invitation you already sent. Send us the invitation, the venue photos, or a color. Our dealers can be costumed to match nearly any theme, and the wardrobe conversation happens well before the day so nothing is improvised.
We load in and set up. Tables, layouts, chips, cards, and everything the dealers need come with the booking. You do not source chips.
The tables open. Dealers explain the games to anyone who asks, and plenty will ask. That teaching part is most of the job at a private party. A good dealer makes a nervous guest feel welcome at a craps table inside ninety seconds.
We break down and go. Load out is ours. You handle the rest of your night.

How long a costumed casino party runs
Table time at most private events runs two to four hours. Past four, play tends to thin out on its own as guests move to dinner, dancing, or the bar. Shorter than two hours and the tables never fully warm up, because the first twenty minutes are always people watching from a distance before someone brave sits down.
Setup and breakdown sit on either side of that window and depend on the venue. A ground floor room with loading dock access is quick. A rooftop with one service elevator, a stair carry, or a strict union load in window is not. Tell us about the elevator early. It changes the schedule more than anything else.
We do not quote turnaround or availability without seeing your date, so ask when you call.
What it costs and what moves the number
We quote every event individually and do not publish rates, because two parties with identical guest counts can price very differently. Here is what actually moves it:
- Number of tables and dealers. The single biggest driver. Guest count sets the table count, and the table count sets the staff.
- Hours of play. Two hours versus four.
- Costuming. Standard themed wardrobe is different from custom or brand specific pieces.
- Showgirls in addition to dealers. They are added roles, not swapped in for dealers.
- Venue access. Stairs, distance from the truck, elevator restrictions, and load in windows.
- Travel. We work throughout California from a Los Angeles base, and distance factors in.
- Date and timing. December and late night load outs are their own conversation.
Call (866) 963-6557 or send the booking form with your date, venue, and rough guest count and we will put a real number in front of you. We accept all major credit cards.
What to check before you hire anyone
Ask who the dealers actually are. We hire and train our dealers in house, more than 20 of them, and we have been owned, operated, and staffed entirely by women since Jodi Lee Screpnek founded the company in 2006. That matters when a stranger in costume is representing your event to your guests.
Ask about insurance. We carry event liability insurance, and most Los Angeles venues will ask for a certificate before they let a truck near the dock.
If your event is a fundraiser, ask about compliance. California has rules for charity casino events, and they are not optional. We are certified by the California Department of Justice gambling division for charity fundraisers and we handle that side. We have helped raise over one million dollars for hundreds of California charities. We are not attorneys and we do not give legal advice, so loop in your own counsel for anything specific to your organization.
Ask what is included. Chips, cards, and setup come with our booking. Get that in writing from anyone you are considering.
Ask where they have worked. Ours have run tables for Red Bull, SpaceX, Make-A-Wish Foundation, Children's Hospital of Los Angeles, Macy's, Calvin Klein, Bombay Sapphire, and the Hollywood Roosevelt, and appeared on camera in Ocean's 13, CSI: NY, and House.
Common questions
Can dealers wear a costume that matches our specific theme?
Yes. Classic Vegas, Roaring Twenties, and James Bond are the ones we are asked for most, and we can costume to match nearly any event theme beyond those. Send us the invitation, a color palette, or reference photos when you book so wardrobe is settled well before the day.
What is the difference between a showgirl and a dancing dealer?
A showgirl is a greeting and presence role: welcoming guests, posing for photos, and drawing people toward the tables. A dancing dealer runs an actual game while bringing that same energy to the table. Most hosts book showgirls alongside a standard dealer lineup rather than in place of one.
Do guests gamble with real money?
No. Chips have no cash value and nobody wagers or wins money. Guests play for entertainment and for whatever prizes you choose to award at the end of the night, which is a nice way to close the event.
How much does it cost to book costumed dealers and showgirls?
We quote every event individually because the number depends on table count, hours, costuming, venue access, and travel. Call (866) 963-6557 or use the booking form with your date, venue, and approximate guest count. We accept all major credit cards.
Do you travel outside Los Angeles?
Yes, we work throughout California from our Los Angeles base. Distance factors into the quote, so include the venue address when you reach out.
